Rural News

Advocates are hoping to roll out a free laundry program across the nation in a bid to improve heart health in Indigenous communities.

Queensland’s North-West Hospital and Health Service has partnered with Orange Sky to offer free laundry facilities across the region.

Since the program started in 2022, there’s been a 57 percent reduction in Rheumatic Heart Disease.
