Frustration at reef regulations
Farmers in Queensland are frustrated, strict new laws designed to protect the Great Barrier Reef have passed the state’s parliament.
Regulations aim to limit agriculture pollution from damaging the great barrier reef.
But the state’s agriculture sector argues it hasn’t been listened to, and it will give bureaucrats significant extra power over farmers.
