‘Get it through your thick heads’: Ando’s big rant after Bangladesh loss

3AW Breakfast sports correspondent Jon Anderson has launched a stinging critique of Australia’s cricket selectors after we lost a Test match to Bangladesh for the first time ever yesterday.

The normally laid-back Ando said batsman Usman Khawaja shouldn’t have been playing.

And he mounted a pretty solid argument.

“What more evidence do they need?!” Ando opined.

“He’s a perfectly good cricketer playing on Australian pitches … but get it through your thick heads that he can’t play spin at that level.

“He is never to go to subcontinent again.”
