Gutless masked thug slashes at teenage girl

A teenage woman has been slashed with a knife during an attempted armed robbery in Preston.

Two women, aged 18 and 19, were walking on St Georges Road shortly after 8pm last night when they were approached by three people – two other women and a man wearing a mask.

They demanded that the teens hand over money.

When they said they didn’t have any, the masked man slashed one of the women with a knife.

The group of three then fled along Bell Street.

The injured woman was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
