Hemp helping shore-up building material supply

As Victoria seeks to shutdown the native timber logging industry, the benefits of using hemp as an alternative building material are being highlighted.

Advocacy groups are calling for an inquiry into the state’s Industrial Hemp Industry.

They want barriers, preventing the expansion of the industry, removed to help meet future housing supply needs.
