Jane Seymour’s first impressions of Melbourne

Jane Seymour is a former Bond girl and the star of cult classic Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman.

She’s had a fascinating career and is in town for a couple of intimate meet-and-greets, as well as the Melbourne Cup.

“I had no idea what to expect, I had no idea what I was embarking on,” she said of her time as a Bond girl.

“It was a big deal, I was so green, I was so young.

“I was very well looked after, I had Roger looking after me so that was great.”

She spoke to Denis Walter about her career in Hollywood, and how she’s finding Melbourne.

“I love the idea the whole continent is excited about a horse running fast!” she said.

“It’s so wonderful to see how glamorous everyone is.”
