Last chance for oyster farmers to claim rebate

Rural News

An online training program is helping oyster growers future-proof their business.

Class A aquaculture permit holders are being invited to take part in the free course which covers biosecurity, workplace health and safety and water quality.

It forms part of eligibility requirments for those wanting to access a $3,000 rebate scheme.

Rural editor Sophie Clarke caught up with New South Wales Farmers oyster manager Andy Myers to hear more about the process and how people can apply.

Applications for the rebate are open until Monday, the 1st of May.
