Live exporters optimistic about regulations
Stocking densities for live sheep exports will be reduced by about 30 percent, under changes adopted by the federal agriculture department.
Heat stress indicators will also be introduced for all livestock shipments that cross the equator.
All 49 recommendations from an independent review of the standards of live exports are being adopted.
