Major war anniversaries cancelled to public due to Coronavirus

Michael McLaren

Mat McLachlan, war historian & founder of Australian Battlefield Tours, joins Michael to discuss the cancellation of major war anniversaries to the public due to Coronavirus.

In light of the current situation, Australians are being advised to prepare to honour Anzac Day from home as a selection of dawn services will be held across the country with the public being asked not to attend.

This will be the first time in 100 years that Anzac Day Dawn Services have not been attended by thousands of Australians.

However, it does not mean that we cannot still honour the service and sacrifice that has been made by those who have served in all wars by tuning in to Anzac Day coverage on TV, radio, as well as through podcasts and online videos.
