Making animal feed more sustainable

There are concerns conventional protein feed ingredients for animal feeds are becoming increasingly unsustainable.

Researchers at James Cook University are looking at scaling up Black Soldier Fly larvae farming in Australia which could be used as a sustainable protein source for livestock and farmed fish.
