More devastation on the way for flood-hit farmers

Flood-hit communities in south-east Queensland and northern New South Wales are bracing for more devastation, in the months ahead.

The weather bureau has declared another La Nina event – bringing an increased risk of flooding for the third year in a row.

Rural reporter Rhiannon Soliman-Marron caught up with Northern Rivers farmer Neil Baker, who says there needs to be a consistent, whole-of-government approach to help regions cope.
