National campaign launched to safeguard small scale producers and abattoirs

A national campaign to ensure the future of small scale producers and abattoirs has been launched.

The Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance wants to see increased government funding for the industry, as well as collaboration to address worker shortages, and safeguards for micro and mobile abattoirs.

Rural Editor Emily Minney spoke with President Tammi Jonas about the challenges the sector faces.
