NEIL MITCHELL: It sounds like Malcolm Turnbull is pointing the finger…

Neil Mitchell says Malcolm Turnbull’s endeavour to point the finger at the Victorian government after the Brighton siege was “extraordinary”.

“I find that quite extraordinary – the Prime Minister very much targeting out the Premier of Victoria saying ‘What are you going to do about parole?’,” he said.

“It’s very unusual for the Prime Minister to do that sort of thing.

“I mean, it’s an issue I raised … but I find it a bit surprising that the Prime Minister went down that path.”
