New farmers president targets seasonal labour

The Victorian Farmers Federation has elected Emma Germano as its new president.

The Gippsland farmer has been serving as vice president to David Jochinke who didn’t stand for re-election.

Rural editor Eddie Summerfield spoke with the new president shortly after the election results were finalised.
