New probe into the chicken meat industry

An independent review has been commissioned to probe the relationship between growers and producers in the country’s chicken meat supply chain.

The inquiry will look into whether there is evidence of market failure within the industry.

It will also consider evidence from a number of other inquiries which have been undertaken into the industry.
