Numbat numbers on the rise.

Numbat numbers are improving in parts of the lower Murray Darling region.

The reintroduced populations in New South Wales and South Australia are reaching levels not seen since before the 2018-19 drought.

The Yookamura Wildlife Sanctuary in South Australia has doubled its populations to 42.
