Opposition to take part in Victorian hotel quarantine inquiry
The Victorian Opposition will appear before the Coate Hotels Quarantine Inquiry.
Victorian Shadow Attorney-General, Edward O’Donohue spoke to Luke Grant on Australia Overnight about the decision.
He said it’s an opportunity for a range of voices to have a seat at the inquiry.
“There is no doubt in my mind that this is the biggest public policy failure in Australia’s history,” he told Luke Grant.
“People are dying every day that would not have been dying if this hotel quarantine fiasco had not gone ahead and the COVID genie had not been let out of the bottle.”
