Optimism about wine vintage despite smoke taint
Wine grape growers in regions impacted by bushfires are being urged to work with local industry bodies to get their crops tested for smoke taint.
This year’s vintage is expected to be significantly impacted by smoke taint.
The National Wine and Grape Industry Centre is conducting testing by making wine from samples to gauge the potential impact from bushfires.
