Oysters Threatened by Pesticides

Shellfish in the Richmond river in Northern New South Wales are under threat from a number of pesticides.

Researchers have found more pesticides on oysters than in the surrounding water.

Rural reporter Georgia Kondek spoke with Southern Cross University Professor Kristen Benkendorff about how this has happened and what happens next.
