Rail project needs government help to get back on track.
Victoria’s Rail Freight Alliance is calling on the state government to to urgently fund the rest of the Murray Basin Rail Project.
An Auditor General’s report is due next month, more than six months since the state acknowledged the 440 million dollar project had run out of money.
Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with Rail Freight Alliance Chief Executive Reid Mather who says the state needs assistance to help complete the half-finished project.
