Red Meat 2030 Plan set to ‘beef up’ the industry.

It’s hoped a new plan to double the value of red-meat industry sales by 20-30 demonstrates to businesses and consumers, a commitment to sustaining the industry.

New resources will be channelled into advocating for red meat and educating the wider community on the vital role the industry plays.

Rural Reporter Sophie Clarke caught up with Red Meat Advisory Council Independent Chair Don Mackay for a chat about how the plan will work.
