Rural women celebrated
The resilience of rural women through the coronavirus pandemic is being celebrated around the world as part of the UN’s International Day of Rural Women.
Dairy farmer Cressida Cains was named the New South Wales rural woman of the year in April.
She’s created a digital platform and support hub, aimed at helping small dairy farms.
Rural editor Eddie Summerfield caught up with Cressida, where I start by asking how her life has changed since being named rural woman of the year:
