Skyrocketing cost of fuel hits farmers’ hip pocket

With the cost of fuel tipped to go beyond two dollars a litre – many farmers are wondering how they’re going to balance the books.

And New South Wales Farmers Vice President Xavier Martin says it’s not just fuel – the price of other inputs such as fertiliser and chemicals are also skyrocketing.

Rural Reporter Gail Watson caught up with Mr Martin, on how significant these rises are.
