Smoke slows air-dropping of fodder in fire impacted communities

Teams of vets are continuing to make their way across fire impacted parts of Victoria, with confirmed livestock losses closing in on 4,000 head.

670 farms have been inspected, and fodder being air-dropped in an effort to keep livestock alive is being slowed because of the amount of smoke.

Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with Agriculture Victoria’s Relief Commander Brett Harrison:
