Telstra/TPG network deal; blocked

The competition watchdog insists a plan for Telstra and TPG to share mobile networks in regional areas would lessen competition among telcos.

The ACC has rejected a proposal which would have given TPG access to Telstra towers in a bid to improve coverage.
