The media could soon have more access to AFL players after new pay deal

The media could soon have more access to AFL players in the wake of their improved pay and conditions agreement.

Players will get a 20 per cent pay rise this year as part of the six year deal announced on Tuesday.

Union Chief Paul Marsh has told 3AW’s Neil Mitchell, players will now discuss whether they want to make themselves more available to journalists.
