US doctors ban handshakes after research proves they can spread infections

Two hospitals in the USA have banned the handshake after trials proved they spread infections.

They want you to fist-bump instead.

But the AMA doesn’t think the handshake needs to be done away with – as long as proper hygiene is practiced.
