Water minister supports all recommendations from key Murray Darling report

The Federal Government will seek to implement all five recommendations from Mick Keelty’s review of water sharing agreements in the Southern Murray Darling Basin — but it’ll need state support.

The report was launched after hundreds of irrigators convoyed to Canberra in December calling for urgent action on the Murray Darling Basin Plan.

The recommendations centre on transparency, accessibility, and availability about Murray Darling water matters.
