‘What’s going on in schools!?’

Tom Elliott

Melbourne schools are banning toys and activities left, right and centre and Neil Mitchell wants to know what’s going on.

“What’s going on in schools!?” asked Neil Mitchell.

“What has your school banned? I’m starting to think that it’s gone a bit too far.”

Neil put the call out to the kids and compiled a list:

  • Running
  • Fidget spinners
  • Paper planes
  • Water bottle flipping
  • Tackling in footy
  • Hanging upside down on monkey bars
  • Beyblades
  • Ball tiggy

Some schools have seemingly banned lunch time, cutting back the hours of the kid’s breaks by 20 minute to prevent disruptive behaviour.
