Wine exports look to diversify
The wine industry says its biggest obstacle is growing consumer awareness and demand as it looks to diversify export markets.
The federal government included about $90 million in Tuesday’s federal budget for programs to help producers diversify their exports.
The Chinese market is effectively closed to wine exporters for the next five years, after it introduced tariffs.
