Point Cook resident ‘absolutely terrified’ by ‘home invasion’ at party
A Point Cook resident says she was ‘absolutely terrified’ after her street was overrun by youths gatecrashing a party.
Lee lives on Drysdale Crescent and told Ross and John she was woken by loud noises on the street around 11.30pm on Saturday night.
She said she was ‘absolutely amazed’ when she opened the blind to see ‘100 to 200’ teens out on the street.
‘We were absolutely terrified,’ she said.
The group then proceeded to ‘kick and bang’ on the door and window of the house, before ultimately smashing the window and gaining access to the home.
Lee said she was annoyed with reports about an ‘out-of-control Facebook party.’
‘It was a home invasion,’ she said.
‘These people weren’t known to the teenagers.’
