Police have released CCTV in hopes to identify two men following an armed robbery at a bottle shop and attempted murder in Kingsville in 2011. 

Two men armed with a firearm, entered the shop on Geelong Road and threatened staff before firing a shot into the cash register.

The robbery happened around 7.45pm on Saturday 1 October.

The pair stole a quantity of alcohol and fled the scene.

The offenders also fired a shot at a driver in a nearby stationary vehicle who was going about his own business. 

The occupant of the car, a South Kingsville man aged in his 50s, received serious gun-shot injuries to his hand and arm. 

The offenders are both perceived to be Pacific Islander in appearance, aged in their 20s to 30s with solid builds. 

The first offender was wearing a black hooded jumper with black tracksuit pants and was carrying a sports bag. 

The second offender was wearing a white hooded jumper with black stripes on the sleeves, a white or light coloured scarf covering his face and was carrying a black satchel.
