Police are hunting for a man who sexually assaulted a woman at a music festival
Detectives are appealing for public assistance after a woman was sexually assaulted at the Groovin’ the Moo festival in Bendigo on Saturday April 30.
Police have been told the 20-year-old woman was dancing alone at the music festival around 4pm.
A man grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her before a passer-by saw her in distress and came to help.
The man got away, he is believed to be aged 18-years-old, 183cm tall, slim build with blue eyes, light coloured hair and a pale complexion.
At the time of the assault he was wearing a white shirt with ‘Premiers’ written on the back and had an injured arm in a red sling.
A photo has been released of a man they believe can assist them with their enquiries.
