Police are investigating the theft of a kitten at a Heidelberg vet

Police investigating following the theft of a kitten from a vet last week.

Officers are told a woman entered the business on Cape Street, Heidelberg just after 11am on Friday, March 10. 

Once inside, the woman walked around for a few minutes looking at the animals that were for sale.

She then went towards a cage and stole a kitten.

The kitten is just three-months-old, ginger and white in colour and micro chipped.

The offender is perceived to be Caucasian, 45-years-old with dyed red hair and tattoos on her shoulders.
