Police have arrested a man in Narre Warren South after surrounding a house on Pendle Close in Narre Warren.

They attended the property to conduct a welfare check.

“The man was located by Police in Berwick Springs Promenade and was arrested about 3.40pm,” Tom Elliott said.

According to Word on the Street caller, Daniel, the SWAT team, detectives and multiple police arrived at the property around 1pm.

“My partner went out the front before, and they were out the front lawn, behind a tree, and they told her to go back inside,” he told Tom Elliott.

The man was taken to hospital and remains under police guard.
