Police arrest woman after dramatic pursuit

Police say it’s lucky nobody was killed or injured when a woman allegedly stole a vehicle in a home invasion, leading police on a pursuit down the Monash Freeway this morning.

The Suzuki Swift was being driving on its rims before the pursuit came to a dramatic end on Heatherton Road in Endeavour Hills shortly before 9am.

The alleged driver, a 26 year old woman remains in custody.
