Police presence in the CBD is set to be boosted as authorities brace for rival protests to descend on the CBD this Australia Day.

Chief Executive of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sally Curtain, told Ross and Russ, “I don’t know if you’ve been in the city when these protests are occurring, but of course, there are high emotions.”

“We don’t want to see anything disrespectful, and we want to allow people to go about their day.”
