Police car rammed at Langwarrin

A police car has been rammed in Langwarrin, with one offender believed to be on the run.

Officers were at a carpark on Cranbourne Road investigating a report of a suspicious car when the Ford sedan came speeding past.

Police say they did not give chase but instead found the vehicle at nearby Wogunya Crescent.

The Ford then reversed into the police car.

The officers were not injured.

One woman was arrested but a man – believed to be in his mid to late 30s and bald – remains on the run.

The police van and the maroon coloured ford sedan remain at the scene, both with significantly damaged.
