Teenagers arrested after dramatic police chase ends in Sunbury

Caller Louisa has detailed the first-hand account of a police chase which has had a dramatic end in a Sunbury shopping centre.

She said the two occupants abandoned a black SUV in a Sunbury shopping centre car park.

“Oh they’ve got someone on the ground … they’ve got two people!” she told Tony Jones, filling in for Tom Elliott.

The car was originally spotted heading towards Geelong, before witnesses spotted the car heading towards the airport.

Victoria Police have confirmed three teenagers have been arrested.

They believe the trio committed two home invasions, and an attempted car jacking in Mickleham.
