Police find body, believed to be missing Whorouly woman Karen Chetcuti

Police have found a body, believed to be missing Whorouly woman Karen Chetcuti, near the Lake Buffalo weir wall.

The body was located off Croppers Creek Road, near Myrtleford, about 1.35pm on Monday.

Police are working to formally identify the body, but believe it to be that of Ms Chetcuti.

A 48-year-old man is assisting police with their investigation into Karen’s disappearance.

No charges have been laid at this time.
