Police hunt trio who drove stolen Mercedes straight through a Williamstown garage door

Police are searching for three thieves who drove a Mercedes Benz through a Williamstown garage door and made off with it.

The trio walked onto the Pasco Street property and attempted to open the garage roller door at about 11pm on January 15.

When they failed to get in that way, the trio left and returned in a Toyota Hilux van with the registration plate covered.

One of the offenders broke into the garage and reversed the owner’s Mercedes Benz C63, ploughing through the garage door.

The offenders then made off with the vehicle.
