Police hunt two men after dramatic burglary at Beaconsfield Upper restaurant

Police are hunting two men after an aggravated burglary at a restaurant at Beaconsfield Upper.

The men burst into the premises on Beaconsfield-Emerald Road just after 5am on Monday.

Police were quickly on the scene, but the men fled in a white ute but not before one of the officers managed to discharge OC spray through a window.

The occupants of the restaurant weren’t injured.

An intensive search of the area is now underway.

The offenders have been described as two males in their 30s.
