Police investigate Braybrook shooting

UPDATE: A man has been arrested but another remains on the run after a shooting at Braybrook on Wednesday.

A Point Cook man, 32, is set to undergo surgery after suffering a gunshot wound to the leg.

He is in a stable condition at the Royal Melbourne hospital.

A Braybrook man, 26, was arrested at Sunshine four hours after the alleged incident.

Another remains on the run.

Police said a shot was fired after an altercation at a block of units on McLennan Street.
