Police are investigate a disturbing case of suspected dog baiting at Mount Martha.

Meat has been laced with an unknown blue substance.

“We think it’s probably rat poison,” Constable Jessica Spicer said on 3AW Drive.

“But a few people think it could be wild dog bait.”
