Police investigate more Melbourne shootings

Police are investigating another two shootings at the weekend, bringing the total number of shootings across Melbourne to 12 in less than a month.

A man in his 20s was hospitalised on Sunday afternoon after a shooting at a home in King Park near St Albans.

Two men were arrested, one aged in his 50s the other in his 20s.

It came a day after a man in his 20s was shot in the abdomen during a brawl near Melton.

Two men were also questioned over that attack.

All up, there have been 12 shootings across Melbourne in the past month – including the fatal shooting of a 54 year old man at Thomastown.

It’s unclear how many, if any, of the shootings are linked.
