Police investigate nasty affray on Westgate Freeway

Police are investigating an affray on the Westgate Freeway involving a group of men returning from a bucks day.

The men allegedly threw an empty beer bottle from a bus which hit the bonnet of a BMW on February 11.

The driver and passenger in the BMW confronted the occupants of the bus.

They were allegedly assaulted by a group of men on the bus, who then smashed the car windows and mirrors before jumping on the car.

The group boarded the bus and drove off.

One of the BMW occupants suffered a dislocated shoulder and the other suffered facial injuries.

Police are calling on anyone who witnessed this incident or who has dashcam footage to come forward.
