Police investigate sexual assault on Christmas Eve at Mooroolbark

Police are investigating a sexual assault on Christmas Eve last year.

A woman was leaning into her car parked on Daymer Avenue at Mooroolbark, when an unknown man approached from behind and sexually assaulted her.

The man ran away after nearby dogs began barking.

The incident happened between 8-10pm on Saturday, December 24.

Investigators have released digital composite images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
