Police investigate St Kilda sexual assault

Police are investigating after a woman was sexually assaulted in St Kilda earlier this month.

Police have been told a woman was waiting for a ride sharing service on Fitzroy Street when she was approached by a man about 12.40am on 1 September.

It’s understood they had drinks together nearby.

Police then believe the pair went back to a property in St Kilda where the woman was sexually assaulted.

Detectives have released an image of a man they wish to speak to.

He is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, 175-80cms tall, medium build and about 30-year-old.
