Police investigating after alleged ‘scream’ mask wearing vandal repeatedly targeted synagogue in inner-Melbourne

Police are investigating after a bald man wearing a scream mask was allegedly caught on CCTV targeting a South Yarra synagogue, graffiting “offensive language”.

Media advisor Julie Anne Newman says it’s believed the same man is alleged to have targeted the synagogue five times over four months.

“He doesn’t seem to turn up at any set time, the incidents have occurred in the early hours of the morning, late at night and even as early as 8:30 in the evening,” she told Ross and Russ.
