Police investigating alleged sexual assault in St Kilda

Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault which occurred in St Kilda last month.

Police were told a 25-year-old woman was working at a licensed premise on Fitzroy Street on August 24 when a man allegedly made derogatory comments towards her before sexually assaulting her.

The man then followed her and continued to sexually assault her.

The alleged offender is perceived to be caucasian, about 170cm tall, aged in his mid 20s with a goatee beard and short mousey-brown hair.
